The counsel for the petitioner states that the petition challenges the tax for the period ending 31st March, 2014 and the respondent New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) has recovered the tax upto the said period by attachment and as far as the subsequent period is concerned, the Division Bench of this Court has vide order dated 14th March, 2016 in W.P.(C) No.1234/2016 titled Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotesl Ltd. Vs. New Delhi Municipal Council stayed coercive steps. The counsel state that this petition has become infructuous and may be disposed of as such. 3.
The counsel for the respondent NDMC states that he has no instructions, whether entire tax upto 31st March, 2014 has been recovered. 4.
Be that as it may, on the statement of the counsel for the petitioner, the petition is disposed of as infructuous.
No costs.
