This is a petition filed under Section 29A (4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of Arbitral Tribunal by a period of 12 months w.e.f. 12.09.2024. 5.

It is stated that the delay in concluding the Arbitral proceedings and passing the Award has occurred due to the documents involved in the arbitration proceedings being voluminous and the dispute between the parties being technical in nature.
