This is a petition petition filed under Section 29A (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of Arbitral Tribunal by a period of 6 months.

It is stated that the arbitral proceedings is at the stage of final arguments and since, the records pertaining to the arbitral proceedings are voluminous, the delay has occurred.

Hence the present petition has been filed.

I am satisfied that sufficient cause has been shown for extension of the mandate of the arbitral tribunal.

Mr. Parmar, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and has no objection to the petition being allowed. 10.
The mandate of the arbitrator is extended till 28.02.2025 to conclude the arbitral proceedings and publish the Arbitral Award. 11.
The petition is disposed of.
