The instant petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed on behalf of petitioners seeking following prayer: "a) Directing the Respondent No. 1 to refund the amount, illegally recovered from the Petitioners for the non-overlapping period between the two fellowships namely non-NET and "NET-JRF & other fellowships", in light of the judgment and final order dated 16.05.2023 in Writ Petition (Civil) No.16713/2022 passed by this Hon‟ble Court and;
b) Award costs in favour of the Petitioners and/or;" 4.

At the outset, learned counsel for respondent No. 1/JNU submits that the present writ petition may be directed to be treated as representation on behalf of the petitioners and the University shall decide the same in a timebound manner. 6.
Learned counsel for the petitioners states that he has no objection to the suggestion put forth by the learned counsel for respondent No.1/JNU. 7.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, it is directed that the present petition be treated as a representation on behalf of the petitioners and the same be decided within a period of six weeks from today, by the respondent no. 1/JNU, under intimation to the petitioners herein. 8.
