By the present petition, the petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of FIR No. 78/2018.

No order sheet has been filed in the present case. The petition does not indicate as to why the trial has been taking time. It is common knowledge that trials in criminal cases take a substantial period of time since inter alia, a number of witnesses have to be examined.

which would be in the nature of passing directions to the learned Trial Court to conduct the trial in a particular manner. 6.
