Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 ('Cr.P.C.') has been preferred on behalf of the petitioner with the following prayer:- "1. That the Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue the Writ of Mandamus or Certiorari or any other Writ petition whereby Directing the Respondents to expedite the investigation and take appropriate action against the accused."

Issue notice. Learned ASC for the State appears on advance notice and accepts notice.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a complaint in respect of death of the daughter of the petitioner had been lodged with Police Station Begampur and on the basis of same, FIR No. 0393/2024 under Sections W.P.(CRL) 2468/2024 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. 498A/304B/34 IPC was registered on 22.06.2024. The grievance of the petitioner is that pursuant to complaint, action was not expeditiously taken by the police and as such, a complaint was also lodged with the Commissioner of Police.

Learned ASC for the State, on instructions of IO, informs that pursuant to registration of FIR, husband and father-in-law of the deceased have already been arrested. She further informs that investigation is being further taken up in accordance with law and chargesheet shall be filed within the stipulated period. She also requests that in case there is any particular grievance of the petitioner, the same shall also be further looked into by investigating agency and IO shall ensure that no inconvenience is caused to petitioner, or any member of his family, if they are called for purpose of investigation. 5.
In view of the statement made by learned ASC for the State, no further directions are called for at this stage.
Petition is accordingly disposed of. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
