The Petitioner, a practising advocate, has applied for empanelment with Respondent No. 2/ South-East District Legal Services Authority, which operates under the administrative oversight of Respondent No. 1/ Delhi Legal Services Authority (DLSA). The Petitioner is aggrieved by the email communication dated 3rd August, 2024 sent by Respondent No. 2, which calls upon the Petitioner, along with other candidates, to give an undertaking which reads as follows:
"I, _______, Enrollment No.________, hereby undertake that I have only applied for ______ Panel in South-East District, DLSA, Delhi as on date and that I have not applied for any other panel in any other DLSA, Delhi.
If the above-mentioned information is found to be incorrect, I shall be liable for rejection of my application as per the discretion of South- East, The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. The Petitioner objects to the language of the aforenoted undertaking, which effectively prevents any applicant who has applied for any other panel in any other DLSA, Delhi from applying for the empanelment. 3.
Mr. Harsh Prabhakar, counsel representing the Respondents, states on instructions that, without prejudice to the instructions issued under notice dated 26th March, 2024, the undertaking will not be insisted on from any of the applicants for empanelment.

In light of the above stand taken by the Respondents, in the opinion of the Court, the grievance of the Petitioner stands redressed and no further directions are required to be issued.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed of along with pending applications.
