On the last date i.e., 9th December, 2024, after hearing the parties the Court had directed as under:

In view thereof, let the VAT department compute the interest payable to the Petitioner and pay the same in terms of Section 42 of the Delhi Value Added Tax Act, 2004 till 6th November, 2024."

Today, Mr. Puneet Rai, ld. Counsel for the Petitioner has handed across the copy of the computation, which was provided to the Petitioner by the DVAT Department. As per the said computation, the net amount of refund payable is Rs.6,50,857/-.

The Court has pursued the said computation. Since the refund order has already been passed by the Department, let the said refund amount be remitted The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. in the bank account of the Petitioner by the 10th March, 2025. The said computation order passed by the DVAT Department is taken on record. 5.
