The next date in the present petition is 16.09.2025 but the matter has been taken up today on the basis of the request made by learned Standing Counsel (Crl.) for the State.

It is submitted that the missing girl i.e. Ms. N. has been traced out and her statement has also been got recorded under Section 183 of BNSS, 2023 (corresponding Section 164 of Cr.P.C.) and that she has also been produced before Child Welfare Committee and has been handed over to her mother. 3.

Present petition has been filed by her mother and she is also present along with her counsel.

The Court has made queries from Ms. N. who submits that she is 18 years of age and has studied upto 11th class. She also states that she wants to reside with her mother only. Copy of her statement recorded under Section 183 of BNSS, 2023 and her MLC have also been perused. She has refused to undergo any medical examination.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of abovesaid subsequent development and since the daughter of the petitioner is now with the petitioner, no further action is needed. He, therefore, does not press the petition.

In view of above, the present petition is disposed of as not pressed. 8.
