The petitioner, a practicing advocate in the Supreme Court and the Bombay High Court has filed this petition with following prayers: "a) That a Writ of Mandamus or an appropriate Writ be issued to the IP Marg Police Station to register an FIR under the BNSS or the Old Code of Criminal Procedure for offences of forgery, forgery for the purposes of harming reputation, fabrication of evidence, threat to injury, disappearance of evidence or theft and criminal conspiracy under the BNS or the IPC Agents respondent 2 to 5 and 7 in terms of what is stated in Complaints dated 01. 6. 24, 03. 06. 24, 07. 06. 24 and

01. 08. 2024 (Annexure 1 to 4) and the recitals of this petition. b). After registration of the FIR, as stated in sub para. 01 above, the investigation may proceed along with one Officer designated by the Central Government, - Ministry of Law & Justice, who may provide neutral assistance to the Police. C) The Central Government , though the Ministry of Law, may be given directions to conduct a thorough enquiry and investigation into the averments of this petition and report to this Honorable Court, with a proposed set of rules that can be framed under Section 49 and 60 of the Advocates Ac 1961 . d). Pending hearing and final disposal of this Petition, this Honorable Court may direct the police to take appropriate preventive measures for prevention of further manipulation in records and to sieze the records in cases - BCI Trf Case no. 7 of 15. Revision no. 16 of 14, 31 of 22 and 36 of 22. e) Pass any further order(s) which this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the present case, in the interest of justice."

Today the matter has come up before me for the first time. Earlier on 04 dates, for one or the other reason the matter kept getting adjourned even for preliminary hearing.

Today after addressing partly, the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw this petition with liberty to institute appropriate proceedings before the court of competent jurisdiction. Accordingly, the petition is disposed of as withdrawn with liberty as sought.
