O R D E R

The present petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking issuance of an Emergency Travel Certificate to enable her to travel to her home country i.e. Uzbekistan.

The order dated 29.07.2025 took note of the peculiar circumstances afflicting the petitioner which impelled the petitioner to approach this Court. Today, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the respondents that a communication was sent by the Ministry of External Affairs to the Embassy of Republic of Uzbekistan seeking diplomatic intervention for issuance of travel document in favour of the petitioner, to enable the petitioner to travel back to her home country i.e. Uzbekistan. The Embassy of Uzbekistan has been requested to issue the necessary travel documents to facilitate the petitioner's immediate repatriation to Uzbekistan. 3.

Learned counsel for respondents further submits, on instructions, that upon the issuance of the emergency travel documents by the Embassy of The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Uzbekistan, the petitioner would be at liberty to apply to the FRRO, Delhi for an exit permit, which shall be processed and expedited as soon as the same is submitted by the petitioner.

It is further submitted on behalf of the respondents, on instructions, that in view of the peculiar facts and circumstances of the present case, the respondents would not insist upon an NOC from the concerned Trial Court (where the cases pertaining to the petitioner are pending), as a pre-condition for issuance of the exit permit. Instead, the department would duly inform the investigating agencies in this regard.

In the circumstances, there would be no impediment in issuance of the requisite exit permit to the petitioner as and when the petitioner obtains the travel documents from the Embassy of her home country i.e. Uzbekistan. 6.

The above redresses the grievance of the petitioner in the present petition.
