By way of these writ petitions, the petitioners are seeking quashing of cross FIRs, i.e. FIR bearing no. 1267/2014, for the commission of offences punishable under Sections 323/341/34/380 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 (hereafter 'IPC') and FIR bearing No. 1270/2014, for the commission of offences punishable under Sections 323/341/34 of the IPC, registered at Police Station Malviya Nagar, Delhi.

The petitioners and the complainants are present before this Court in person. They have been identified by their counsels and concerned Investigating Officer (IO) from Police Station Malviya Nagar, Delhi. 3.

Briefly stated, facts of the present case are that petitioners in W.P.(CRL) 2343/2025 and the complainant in W.P.(CRL) 3062/2025 are running a NGO and Shelter home for blind peoples. After some time, due to some disputes, arising between both the parties, the FIRs in question were registered against the petitioners/accused under the relevant sections. It is stated that both the parties have amicably settled the present matter vide Memorandum of Understanding dated 20.05.2024, entered between them. 4.

On a query made by this Court, the complainants, who have been identified by the concerned IO, have categorically stated that they have entered into compromise out of their own free will and without any pressure, coercion or threat. It is also stated by the complainants that the entire dispute has been amicably settled between the parties and they have no objection if both the aforementioned FIRs are quashed.

In view of the above fact that the parties have amicably resolved their differences of their own free will, without any coercion and no useful purpose will be served by continuing the proceedings, rather the same would create further acrimony between them. to quash the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto. There is no legal impediment in quashing the FIRs in question. 6.

Accordingly, FIR bearing no. 1267/2014, for the commission of offences punishable under Sections 323/341/34/380 of IPC and FIR bearing No. 1270/2014, for the commission of offences punishable under Sections 323/341/34 of the IPC, registered at Police Station Malviya Nagar, Delhi and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. 7.

In view of the above, both these writ petitions stand disposed of. 8.
