The petitioner seeks regular bail under Section 439 Cr.P.C. in case FIR No.0018/2017 registered under Sections 376 IPC at PS Sarojini Nagar. Status report not filed.

I have heard the learned counsel for the parties including the counsel for the complainant and have examined the file. The petitioner is in custody since 20.01.2017. Perusal of the FIR reveals BAIL APPLN. 264/2017
that the prosecutrix was aged around 22 years. The petitioner and the prosecutrix were acquainted with each other.
Friendship had developed between the two. Physical relationship took place between the two several times albeit on the alleged promise to marry. When the marriage did not happen due to certain reasons, the FIR in question was lodged.
The petitioner has placed on record various documents showing exchange of SMSs on several dates at different times.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is admitted to bail on furnishing personal bond in the sum of ` 50,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Trial Court. The petitioner shall not contact the prosecutrix; he shall not endeavour to criminally intimidate her in any manner. 4.
The bail application stands disposed of.
