This is a petition filed under section 29A of Arbitration and Conciliation, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal for a period of 9 months to complete the arbitral proceedings. 2.

It is stated that the matter is at the stage of final arguments which has taken some time.

Issue notice. Mr. Sethi and Mr. De, learned counsels accept notice for respondent No. 1 and respondent No. 2 respectively and have no objection to the petition being allowed.

For the reason noted above, I am satisfied that sufficient cause for seeking extension of mandate of Arbitral Tribunal has been shown. 5.
