This is a petition under Section 29A(4) and (5) seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal for a period of 12 months to conclude the arbitral proceedings and make and publish the Award. 5.

It is stated that since there was a substitution of the Arbitrator during the pendency of the arbitral proceedings which resulted in a delay, the arbitral proceedings could not be completed within the stipulated time period.

For the said reasons, issue notice. Mr. Qadri, learned counsel for the respondent accepts notice and has no objection to the petition being allowed. 7.

I am satisfied that sufficient cause has been shown for the delay. 8.

For the said reasons, the petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended for a period of 12 months to conclude the arbitral proceedings and make and publish the Arbitral Award. 9.

The petition is allowed and disposed of.
