By way of this writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of Cr.P.C., petitioner is seeking direction to respondent No.1 to 3 to provide police protection from respondent No.4, her husband and his friend, respondent No.5. Along with the petition, the petitioner has also placed on record the photographs showing injury marks on her body.

In respect of the injuries caused to the petitioner, case FIR No.871/2015 under Sections 365/342/323/34 IPC PS Okhla Industrial Area

has already been registered by the police and investigation is on. 3.

On behalf of the State, it is submitted that necessary protection has already been provided to the petitioner by concerned SHO and Beat Constable of the area has also been sensitized. 4.

State is directed to continue necessary protection to the petitioner through the SHO/Beat Staff of the concerned Police Station after periodically assessing the element of threat, if any, to the petitioner from respondent Nos.4 and 5.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
