By way of this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution, the petitioner seeks the following reliefs:- "A.

Allow the present petition and may issue appropriate writ/necessary orders and directions against the Respondent(s) for Quashing of the Order No. Fin./Pen. cell/f-3/2023-24 dated 25.08.2023 refusing the Petitioner under the GPF cum pension scheme and further seeking Direction to Respondent(s) to release the GPF -cum-Pension along with gratuity and other retirement benefits in pursuance of the Order dated 27.03.2014 passed by Single Judge of this Hon'ble Court which has been confirmed by the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Hon'ble Court vide Order dated 24.08.2016 which has been further confirmed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India vide Judgement dated 10.05.2022.

B. Pass any such other writ or order(s) as it may deem fit and proper in the interest of Justice."

Mr. Mohinder J.S. Rupal, learned counsel for respondent No. 1 - University of Delhi ["University"] and Mr. Girindra Kumar Pathak, learned counsel for respondent No. 2 - Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College ["College"], submit that the respondents have approved the petitioner's request for grant of coverage under the General Provident Fund-cum-Pension Scheme. Mr. Rupal has handed over to the Court a communication dated 28.07.2025 addressed to him by the University, which is taken on record.

Mr. Rupal submits that the matter is now pending at the stage of fixation of pension, which will be concluded within six weeks from today, and that the pension, including arrears as admissible, will accordingly be released to the petitioner.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of, binding the respondents to the submissions recorded above.
