This petition is filed on behalf of the Petitioner under Section 29A (4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ('1996 Act') seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitrator to complete the arbitral proceeding and pass the Arbitral Award.

Disputes having arisen between the parties in relation to Dealership Agreement dated 14.12.2012 for sale of various products such as spare parts and for after sale services, sole Arbitrator was appointed to adjudicate the disputes. It is stated in the petition that mandate of the Arbitrator was extended from time to time and lastly by this Court vide order dated 15.01.2025, in OMP (MISC) (COMM) 35/2025 upto 15.07.2025. It is further stated that award has been reserved for pronouncement and hence the mandate of the Arbitrator be extended by 02 months. Mr. Niraj Jagpat, learned counsel for the Respondents accepts notice and, on instructions, submits that the Respondents have no objection to the extension of mandate of the learned Arbitrator. 5.
Accordingly, with the consent of the parties, mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a period of 02 months from 16.07.2025. 6.
Petition is allowed and disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
