This petition is filed on behalf of the Petitioner under Section 29A (4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ('1996 Act') for extension of the mandate of the learned Sole Arbitrator. 4.
Disputes having arisen between the parties in relation to Work Orders dated 23.07.2015 and 19.09.2015, Respondent filed two petitions under Section 11(6) of 1996 Act being ARB.P. 644/2020 and ARB.P. 658/2020 for appointment of the Arbitrators, which were allowed vide common order dated 15.03.2021, appointing the Sole Arbitrator. mandate of the Arbitrator was extended by this Court and lastly, vide order dated 24.10.2024 in O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 843/2024 and O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 844/2024 by a period of 8 months, which has expired on 30.05.2025. It is stated in the petition that the arbitral proceedings are at the stage of final arguments. 5.
Issue notice.

Mr. Ravi Krishan Chandna, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the Respondent and on instructions, submits that Respondent has no objection to the extension of mandate of the Arbitrator. 7.
Accordingly, with the consent of the parties, mandate of the Arbitrator is extended by a period of 8 months from 30.07.2025 and period between 31.05.2025 to 29.07.2025 is regularised.

Petition is allowed and disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
