% 17.02.2020 This petition has been filed seeking transfer of Eviction Petition No. No. 701/2016 (Old No. E-114/2014) titled "Ushma Sharda Vs. Renu Sood & anr" pending before the Court of the learned Rent Controller (East District), Karkardooma Courts, Delhi to the Court of the learned Rent Controller, (Shahdara District), Karkardooma Courts, Delhi. The petition was necessitated as the respondent, by moving an application, had objected to the territorial jurisdiction of the Court. To obviate any unnecessary delay, the petitioner chose to file the present petition. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, infact, the respondent is correct in his objection and the territorial jurisdiction would infact be with the Rent Controller, Shahdara District. The learned counsel for the respondent submits that the respondent has no objection on the transfer of the Eviction Petition.

In view of the above, the Eviction Petition No. No. 701/2016 (Old No. E-114/2014) titled "Ushma Sharda Vs. Renu Sood & anr" pending before the Court of the learned Rent Controller (East District), Karkardooma Courts, Delhi is transferred to the Court of the Rent Controller, (Shahdara District), Karkardooma Courts, Delhi, to be listed before the transferee Court on 5th March, 2020.

The petition is allowed in the above terms.
