The limited relief sought by the petitioner is that respondent no.1 / Divisional Commissioner be directed to expeditiously hear and dispose of the Appeal No. 632/2022 titled "Reetu Kumari Vs. Raj Kishore Rai". 2.

It is submitted that the said appeal has been pending for an inordinate long period and there is no inkling as to the time that would be required for completion of the pending proceedings. It is submitted that in the meantime, grave prejudice has been caused to the petitioner on account of the interim order dated 19.05.2023 passed by the appellate authority. 3.

Considering the limited nature of the relief sought, the present petition is disposed of with a request to the appellate authority to bestow its urgent consideration to the pending appeal and dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible. Let an endeavour be made to do the same latest within a period of 10 weeks from today. Let hearing/s be accordingly scheduled by the appellate authority at short intervals.
