The present petition is filed by the petitioners essentially seeking protection from the parents of Petitioner No.1, that is, Respondent Nos. 4 and 5.

The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are being harassed and threatened by the parents of Petitioner No.1 with the help of Uttar Pradesh Police. 3.
She submits that despite the petitioners not being of minor age and having married each other willingly, the parents of Petitioner No.1 have gotten a frivolous case registered against them, against which, the petitioners will approach the concerned Court.

She submits that the petitioners apprehend threat to their life and liberty since the parents of Petitioner No.1 have now come to Delhi following the petitioners.

instructions, states that Investigating Officer from Uttar Pradesh Police has approached the concerned Police Station in Delhi and he has assured that all actions will be taken in accordance with the law.

He further submits that the phone number of the Beat Officer would be provided to the petitioners and they would be at liberty to approach him in case they feel any immediate threat to their life and liberty.

Considering the above, in the opinion of this Court, no further orders are required to be passed at this stage. 8.
Needless to say, the petitioners are at liberty to approach this Court in case any grievance remains in the future. AMIT MAHAJAN, J JULY 31, 2025 "SK"
