This is a fresh petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, seeking issuance of a direction to the Station House Officer, Police Station New Ashok Nagar to produce sister of the petitioner, namely, Ms. Deepa Pathak aged about 26 years before this Court, who has been illegally detained by the accused persons since 04.07.2025.

Mr. Sanjay Lao, Standing Counsel (Cr.) accepts notice on behalf of the State.

The detenue, namely, Ms. Deepa Pathak appears through Video Conferencing and has been identified by the Investigating Officer. 5.

The detenue, upon being queried, submits that she is presently at Bhiwani Police Station, Haryana, and has married Dr. Mukteshwar Saroha on 04.07.2025 at Sarv Samaj Marriage Mandal, Rohtak. She submits that she is a fashion designer and has completed a course in Hair Styling and Makeup Art.

At this stage, she submits that she is not willing to meet her parents or any other family members and affirms that she is residing happily with her husband at her matrimonial home without any pressure or coercion.

In view of the statement made by the detenue, namely, Ms. Deepa Pathak, nothing further survives in the present petition. 8.

Accordingly, the present petition stands disposed of.
