Petition under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been filed on behalf of the Petitioners for quashing of FIR No.0228/2025 under Sections 118(1)/3(5) of BNS, registered at Police Station: Tilak Nagar, Delhi and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom, in terms of Settlement Agreement dated 17.07.2025. 2.

Learned APP for the State and learned counsel for Respondent Nos.2 and 3 has appeared on advance Notice.

As per the case of Prosecution, Petitioners and Respondent Nos.2 and 3 are friends. They had a fight on moving two-wheelers, in which Petitioner No.1 Ravinder hit Respondent No.3 Angad on his back with a sharp object. Thereafter, Respondent No.2 Paramjeet Singh took Angad to Mata Chanan Devi Hospital, Janakpuri and informed the Police about the incident. FIR was consequently registered on the same day, i.e. 20.04.2025. 4.

The parties are present before this Court in-person today and have been identified by their learned Counsel and concerned Investigating Officer.

In view of Settlement Agreement dated 17.07.2025, the present Petition has been filed.

The parties have endorsed the amicable Settlement and accepted the terms thereof voluntarily and have undertaken to remain bound by the terms of the Settlement.

The parties have submitted that all the disputes have been amicably settled vide Settlement Agreement dated 17.07.2025 and thus, no fruitful purpose will be served in continuing with the FIR. 8.

The present Petition has been signed by the Petitioners and is supported by their Affidavits. The parties have reaffirmed the terms of Settlement Agreement dated 17.07.2025 and they submit that the said Settlement has been arrived at between them without any threat, pressure and coercion.

Respondent Nos.2 and 3 state that they have no objection if the FIR is quashed.

In view of the above facts that the parties have amicably resolved their differences out of their own free will and without any coercion, no useful purpose will be served in continuing with the proceedings, rather the same would create further acrimony between them. Hence, it would be in the interest of justice to quash the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

Moreover, there is no legal impediment in quashing the aforesaid FIR in question.

Consequently, FIR No.0228/2025 under Sections 118(1)/3(5) of BNS, registered at Police Station: Tilak Nagar, Delhi and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

The Petition along with pending Applications, is disposed of accordingly.
