O R D E R

The present proceedings are instituted seeking quashing of FIR No.466/2007, registered under Sections 380/448 IPC, at Police Station Trilokpuri, Delhi and its consequential proceedings on the ground of the parties having amicably settled their dispute. 2.

As per the prosecution case, the present FIR has been registered by respondent No. 2 against the present petitioners who are his neighbours and who trespassed into his office and stole some articles. 3.

Learned counsels for the parties submit that the parties have amicably settled their dispute before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi on 19.03.2019 and in terms of the said settlement, respondent No.2 is now left with no claim or grievance against the petitioners. 4.

The petitioners and respondent No.2, who are present in person, are identified by their respective counsels and the Investigating Officer.

Respondent No. 2, who is present in Court, states that he has entered into the settlement with the petitioners out of his own free will, volition and without any coercion. He further states that he has no objection if the aforesaid FIR and all proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. 6.

Learned counsels for the parties submit that no other proceedings are pending between the parties.

The parties are bound by the statements made in Court today. 8.

In view of the aforesaid amicable settlement arrived at between the parties, no useful purpose will be served in continuance of the criminal proceedings against the petitioners, it is hereby directed that the aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings arising therefrom are hereby quashed, subject to cost of Rs.5,000/- to be deposited by the petitioner with the "Delhi High Court Legal Services Committee" within a period of one week. Proof of deposit be filed in Court as well as with the Investigating Officer. 9.

The petition stands disposed of.
