The present petition has been filed under Section 29A(4) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereinafter 'the Act') seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal. 2.

Mr. Sarthak Sawhney, counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, submits that the petitioner/claimant is at the final stage of advancing arguments in respect of the claim.

Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent no.1 does not oppose the present petition.

To be noted, three extensions have already been granted by this Court under Section 29A of the Act.

Having heard counsel for the parties, the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended for a further period of six (6) months, with effect from O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 579/2025 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. today, i.e. 6th August, 2025.

The period when the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal expired, i.e., from 12th July, 2025 till today, is also regularized. 7.

Counsel for the parties assure the Court that the parties shall not take any adjournments and shall conclude their respective submissions before the Arbitral Tribunal in an expeditious manner so that the award can be rendered within the period extended above.
