This petition is filed under section 11(6) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 for appointment of a Sole Arbitrator. The relevant facts are that a letter of intent was signed between the parties on 22.4.2011whereby the petitioner was appointed as a property manager for one residential complex, namely, 'Raheja Atlantis'. On 1.7.2011 a Facility Management Agreement was entered into between the parties which was operational from the said date for a period of three years. Disputes have arisen between the parties. On 30.6.2016 the petitioner claims to have invoked the arbitration clause and notices were sent to the respondent company.

On notice being issued of this petition, learned counsel for the respondent has entered appearance. Learned counsel for the parties submit that they have no objection to the appointment of a Sole Arbitrator by this court. As per the arbitration clause which is clause 23 of the letter of intent

dated 22.4.2011 three Arbitrators are to be nominated. 3.

Keeping in view the above consent of parties a Sole Arbitrator is nominated. Mr. Shalok Chandra, Advocate (Mob.9999670588) is appointed as the Sole Arbitrator to adjudicate the disputes between the parties. The learned Arbitrator shall fix his fees in consultation with the learned counsel for the parties. He will also make appropriate declaration in terms of section 12 of the Act.

Petition stands disposed of. All pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
