It has been brought to our notice that petitioner has already made a representation dated 18th July 2025, addressed to the Deputy Commissioner and Chairman, Town Vending Committee, Central Zone. 2.

It is the case of the petitioner that they intend to have the stationary vending certificate instead of the mobile vending certificate which was granted in their favour.

In the representation, they have already made a prayer to that effect, which the conversion of the Certificate of Vending ('COV') from mobile vending certificate to stationary vending certificate. 4.

Counsel for respondent states that the representation can be directed to be decided within a reasonable period.

As such, we dispose of this petition by directing the respondent to decide the representation dated 18th July 2025 expeditiously, and in any case, within 12 weeks from today.

Needless to clarify, the existing COV held by petitioner is valid; it is open for them to carry out vending in accordance with the terms therein. 8.
