A limited prayer has been made in this writ petition that a direction be issued to Central Administrative Tribunal ('Tribunal') to hear O.A. bearing No.1232/2018 which has been pending since the year 2018. The said O.A. is now listed for 24.01.2020 after repeatedly being adjourned on 17.10.2018, 29.01.2019, 21.02.2019, 10.04.2019, 08.08.2019 and 20.11.2019.

With the consent of both the parties, the writ petition is set-down for final hearing and disposal, at the admission stage itself. 4.

While we have no doubt that the matter would have been adjourned by Tribunal for good reasons, having regard to the fact that it has been adjourned six times after the pleadings were completed, we are of the view that Tribunal should endeavour to hear the matter on 24.01.2020, the date

already fixed.

In view of above, the writ petition and CM APPL. 1640/2020 stand disposed of.
