The present writ petition has been filed inter alia seeking directions to respondents no.1 to 3 to take action against the illegal and unauthorized construction in the premises bearing no.886, Ward No. 8, Mehrauli, New Delhi-110070, opposite Gauri Shankar Apartment (hereinafter 'subject property').

Status report has been filed on behalf of the respondents no.1 and 2/ MCD wherein details of the demolition action taken by the respondents no.1 and 2/ MCD against the subject property along with photographs have been provided.

Mehrauli to keep strict watch over the subject property so that the demolished property may not be restored.

Counsel for the petitioner is satisfied with the action taken by the respondents no.1 and 2/ MCD and therefore, does not wish to press the present writ petition any further.

Accordingly, the present writ petition is disposed of. 6.

Consequently, all pending applications stand disposed of. 7.

All rights, contentions and legal remedies of the respondent no.4 shall remain protected.
