The present petition is filed by the Petitioners seeking directions to the Respondent No. 1 for protecting their life and liberty.

It is not disputed that the beat officer of the concerned police station is in regular touch with the petitioners. The petitioners also do not dispute that the beat officer and SHO concerned is co-operating.
