% 25.07.2024 CRL.M.A. 30960/2023 (Application seeking cancellation of bail bonds and release of original documents) 1.

This application has been filed by the widow of late appellant who passed away on 14th June, 2020. Copy of the death certificate has been attached and has been duly verified by the State. In view of the same, the applicant/widow of the appellant does not wish to pursue the appeal. 2.

The appellant had been granted suspension of sentence by order dated 08th October, 2007 furnishing a personal bond in a sum of Rs. 20,000/- with one surety of like amount.

The widow of the appellant stood surety and furnished necessary documents and fixed deposit receipts before the Trial Court. In this situation, the bail bonds and surety stand cancelled. The original documents including the fixed deposit receipt may be returned to the widow (Ms. Nirlap Kaur) by the Trial Court on her request. 5.
