O R D E R

% 25.07.2017 It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably, therefore, FIR No.120/2013 under Section 354 IPC registered at police station Mandawali Fazalpur on the complaint of respondent No.2 may be quashed. Petitioner and respondent no.2 are living in the same locality and are known to each other. Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Praveen Kumar of police station Mandawali Fazalpur. She submits that she has settled the matter of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion, therefore, is not willing to pursue the FIR and the same may be quashed.

Keeping in mind that petitioner and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably in order to maintain harmonious relations being residents of same locality and the fact that respondent no.2 is not interested in pursuing the FIR, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 120/2013 under Section 354 IPC registered at police station Mandawali Fazalpur, which is at the investigation stage, is quashed.

Petitioner and respondent No.2 submit that their mobile phones have been seized and are lying in the Police Station and the same may be returned to them. Investigating Officer submits that mobile phones are not required for investigation now as FIR has been quashed and the same will be returned to the petitioner and respondent no.2.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
