This petition is filed under section 11(6) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 for appointment of a Sole Arbitrator. The relevant facts are that a letter of intent was signed between the parties on 20.7.2013whereby the petitioner was appointed as a Service Provider for providing property management services to the respondent for the project @Meadows Vista. On 24.12.2015 a Facility Management Agreement was entered into between the parties which was operational from the said date for a period of three years. Disputes have arisen between the parties. On 26.12.2016 the petitioner claims to have invoked the arbitration clause and notices were sent to the respondent company.

Despite service of notice, none has appeared for the respondent. Respondent is proceeded ex-parte. As per the arbitration clause in the MOU dated 22.6.2013 three Arbitrators are to be nominated. The petitioner has no

objection to the appointment of a Sole Arbitrator. 3.

Keeping in view the above, Mr. S.P. Kamrah, Advocate (Mob. 9810610466) (Office Tel. No. 25707589) is appointed as the Sole Arbitrator to adjudicate the disputes between the parties. The learned Arbitrator shall fix his fee in consultation with the learned counsel for the parties. He will also make appropriate declaration in terms of section 12 of the Act. 4.

Petition stands disposed of. All pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of. Copy of this order will be sent to Mr. S.P. Kamrah, Advocate.
