This matter has been received on transfer from the Bench of Hon'ble Mr. Justice Anoop Kumar Mendiratta since the Bench is on leave. 2.
This petition has been filed seeking quashing of FIR No.600/2019 under Sections 420/34 IPC PS Vasant Kunj South on the basis of settlement dated 11th June, 2024 arrived at with the facilitation of Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre, which is on record. 3.
Petitioner Nos.1-2 and respondent No.2/complainant are present in Court and duly identified by the IO and state that they are bound by the terms of the settlement. of the said FIR.

Considering the above settlement between the parties and the chances of conviction of the petitioners being remote and bleak, there is no use continuing with proceedings of the present FIR as it would be a misuse of the process of the Court and an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. Accordingly, the petition is allowed. Consequently, the FIR No.600/2019 under Sections 420/34 IPC PS Vasant Kunj South and proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Parties shall abide by the terms of settlement. 6.
Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. Pending applications (if any) are disposed of as infructuous.

Counsel for the first, second and third confirming parties, who have also endorsed the said settlement, are also present before the Court. 8.
