% 02.03.2016 The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to release the bank guarantee furnished by the petitioner at the time of registration of the firm. It has been averred in the writ petition that at the time of registration of petitioner's firm, the petitioner had deposited a bank guarantee of Rs. One lakh.
It has also been averred that on 18th September, 2008, registration of petitioner's firm was cancelled by the respondents on the ground that no business activity was found at the petitioner's address. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner had moved an application/representation dated 02nd March, 2015 for release of bank guarantee but the same has not been released till date. Keeping in view the pendency of the aforesaid
application/representation, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 2 to decide the petitioner's aforesaid application/representation dated 02nd March, 2015 within a period of three weeks.
With the aforesaid direction, the present writ petition stands disposed of .
