1. Mr. Satish Aggarwala, learned counsel for DRI/Respondent Nos. 2, 3, and 4 states that the show cause notice ('SCN') will be issued to the Petitioners positively within two weeks from today.

2. Having considered the counter affidavit filed by Respondent Nos. 2, 3 and 4, the Court considers it appropriate to direct that the Respondents should W.P.(C) 1537/2016

proceed with the adjudication of the SCN in accordance with law with the full participation and cooperation of the Petitioners who will not seek any unnecessary adjournment.

3. The adjudication order will be passed not later than four weeks from the date of the filing of the reply to SCN. A copy of the adjudication order will be issued to the Petitioners forthwith.

4. The writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. Any request made by the Petitioners for provisional release of the consignment would be considered by the Respondents in accordance with law.

5. Order be given dasti.
