+ W.P.(CRL) 604/2014 GURBUX SINGH .... Petitioner Represented by:

versus THE COMMISSIONER OF POLICE & ORS ..... Respondents Represented by:

Mr.Rajesh Mahajan, Additional Standing Counsel

CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE PRADEEP NANDRAJOG

O R D E R

% 31.05.2016 1.

The grievance of the petitioner concerns action initiated by the police under Rule 23 of the Punjab Police Rules, 1934. The reason being the petitioner becoming an accused in five FIRs. The proceedings if taken to the logical conclusion would result in opening a history sheet. 2.

Learned counsel for the State states that the proposal did not get the approval of the senior officers and thus history sheet concerning the petitioner was never opened. This may be the reason why the petitioner is not appearing in the matter.

3.

Noting the stand of learned counsel for the State the writ petition is disposed of as infructuous without there being any order as to costs. Crl.M.A.No.4786/2014 Dismissed as infructuous.
