O R D E R

While by way of W.P.(CRL) 2507/2024, the petitioner seeks release on parole for a period of two months, later, the petitioner has preferred The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

W.P.(CRL) 2976/2024 seeking release on furlough for a period of three weeks.

Mr. Yasir Rauf Ansari, learned ASC for the State submits that the petitioner's request for being released on furlough has been rejected by DSLegal, PHQ, Delhi Prisons on 01.10.2024. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, without prejudice to challenge the grounds of rejection, seeks leave to withdraw W.P.(CRL) 2976/2024 as the grounds relied upon by the petitioner in both the petitions are similar in nature relating to his two minor daughters.

At his request, leave, as prayed for, is granted. Accordingly, W.P.(CRL) 2976/2024 is dismissed as withdrawn. 5.

W.P.(CRL) 2507/2024 has been preferred seeking the petitioner's release on parole on the grounds of admission of his minor daughter in a school.

As per the nominal roll placed on record, the petitioner was last released on parole for a period of 15 days vide order of this Court dated 09.05.2024 w.e.f. 03.06.2024 to 17.06.2024, at the end of which, the petitioner duly surrendered.

Although Mr. Ansari, learned ASC for the State submits that the petitioner's request for being released on furlough was rejected on account of the fact that in the year 2021, he did not surrender in time after the expiry of the period of parole granted to him, however, indisputably the petitioner has been released thrice thereafter on parole. 8.

Considering the aforesaid, it is directed that the petitioner be released on parole for a period of four weeks from the date of his release, subject to his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.10,000/- with one surety of The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

the like amount to the satisfaction of the concerned Jail Superintendent and subject to the following conditions :- i) The petitioner shall report to the SHO of the local area once a week on every Sunday between 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. ii) The petitioner shall furnish a telephone/mobile number to the Jail Superintendent as well as SHO of local police station, on which he can be contacted if required. The said telephone number shall be kept active and operational at all the times by the petitioner.

iii) Immediately upon the expiry of period of parole, the petitioner shall surrender before the Jail Superintendent. 9.

The W.P.(CRL) 2507/2024 is disposed of in the above terms. 10.

Copy of the order be communicated to the concerned Jail Superintendent electronically for information and necessary compliance. 11.
