O R D E R

% 16.12.2016 On the complaint of respondent no.2, FIR No.658/2014 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC was registered at police station Jait Pur against the petitioners.

Petitioner nos.2 to 7 are the relatives of petitioner no.1. Petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes vide Compromise Deed/MOU dated 12th February, 2016. Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Vishnu Dutt PS Jait Pur. She submits that she has settled the matter with petitioner no.1 of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure and coercion. She further submits that petitioner no.1 has already pronounced talaaq and she is not

willing to pursue the FIR any further qua any of the petitioners in view of the settlement.

Keeping in mind that petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably and have parted their ways, I am of view that no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, FIR No.658/2014 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at police station Jait Pur is quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
