By way of the present application, the applicant seeks modification of bail condition imposed vide order dated 04.05.2020. 2.

The learned counsel for the applicant states that vide order dated 05.11.2024, the applicant herein was granted bail, subject to the condition that he will be released on bail on furnishing a bail bond of Rs. 1,00,000/- with two sureties of the like amount, subject to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court with one of the conditions that the applicant may furnish bail by depositing cash equal to the bail amount. It is stated that the applicant is in judicial custody since about five years. It is stated that the applicant does not know anyone in this country, and is unable to arrange the surety bond. one to support his family financially. It is, therefore, requested that the surety amount be reduced to Rs. 50,000/-.

Considering the overall facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to allow the present application. 4.

Accordingly, the order dated 04.05.2023 is modified to that extent that the applicant will be released on furnishing a bail bond of Rs. 50,000/- with two sureties of the like amount.

In view of the above, the present application stands disposed of. 6.
