The instant Appeal, under Section 19 of the Family Courts Act, 1984, has been preferred by the Appellant assailing the Impugned Order dated 27.03.2025 passed by the learned Family Court, Shahdara District, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi, and for the grant of custody of the minor son of the Appellant.

Learned counsel appearing for the Appellant, after arguing for some time and upon realising that, in view of Section 9 of the Guardians and Wards Act, 1890 ["Act"], the territorial jurisdiction to entertain the present petition under Section 7 of the Act, rests with the Courts at Haridwar, being the place where the minor ordinarily resides, prays for permission to withdraw the present petition with liberty to initiate appropriate proceedings before the Competent Court of jurisdiction.
