This petition has been filed seeking quashing of FIR No.198/2018 under Sections 308/323/34 IPC, PS Lodhi Colony on the basis of a settlement arrived at between the partes on 01st June, 2024, which is placed on record. Due to an accident which was imminent, a scuffle took place between the parties, cross-FIRs were registered, this and the other FIR being No.197/2018.

Parties have agreed to settle their disputes and seek quashing of the FIR. The petitioner Nos.1-4 and respondent No.2 are present in Court and duly identified by the IO. Respondent No.2 states that he has no objection to the quashing of the FIR on the basis of the settlement. 3.

continuing with proceedings of the present FIR as it would be a misuse of the process of the Court and an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. Accordingly, the petition is allowed. Consequently, the FIR No.198/2018 under Sections 308/323/34 IPC, PS Lodhi Colony and proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Parties shall abide by the terms of settlement. Counsel for the petitioner states that the other FIR No.197/2018 based on a compoundable offence he will withdraw the same.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. Pending applications (if any) are disposed of as infructuous.
