This writ petition has been filed on behalf of the Petitioners, who are the legal heirs of Smt. Naina Devi, a class IV employee of the Respondent. She expired on 12.07.2017 and now the legal heirs seek release of terminal and other benefits including gratuity.

Learned counsel for the Petitioners who has joined Court proceedings virtually states that Petitioners are not giving him instructions for further prosecution and he wishes to seek discharge.

Mrs. Ahlawat, learned Standing Counsel, on the other hand, hands over a copy of letter dated 14.09.2024 written to her by the Administrative Officer, GTB Hospital, stating therein that pursuant to the Court order dated 15.04.2024, various communications were sent to the Petitioners to submit documents along with death certificates of their brother Amardeep and his W.P.(C) 1711/2020 Page 1 of 2 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. wife with proper claim and other supporting documents to release the terminal benefits of the third son of the deceased employee. However, a communication dated 02.05.2023 has been received from Sh.

Vikas/Petitioner No. 3 stating that he has received all benefits coming to his share and does not wish to pursue the case any further. The letter is taken on record.

It seems that the Petitioners are not interested in prosecuting the writ petition any further. Accordingly, writ petition is dismissed, giving liberty to the Petitioners to seek a revival, if they wish to prosecute their cause.
