By the present petition the petitioner seeks parole for engaging private counsel and filing special leave petition besides maintaining social ties. 2.
The petitioner was convicted for offence punishable under Sections 302/34/393 IPC and directed to undergo life imprisonment under Sections 302/34 IPC and rigorous imprisonment for a period of seven years under Section 393 IPC vide order dated 10th October, 2014. The appeal filed by the petitioner before this Court was dismissed on 26th September, 2016. The petitioner has been in incarceration since the date of arrest, that is, 12th June, 2010. Till date the petitioner has been granted only four days interim bail by this Court during the pendency of the appeal. When the four days' interim bail was granted to the petitioner there is no allegation that he misused the concession granted to him.

As per the status report filed, the family of the petitioner comprising of his parents and two brothers is residing at C-318, Shiv Vihar, Uttam Nagar, Delhi.

Considering the fact that the petitioner has roots in the society, this Court deems it fit to grant parole to the petitioner. It is, therefore, directed that the petitioner be released on parole for a period of four weeks from the date of his release on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹25,000/- with one surety of the like amount, which surety would be of the family member, subject to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court/CMM. 5.
Petition is disposed of.
