The petitioner has invoked the writ jurisdiction of this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of order No.3/187/09-CLO/BSF-1732 dated 24th October, 2016 by which his request for release on Parole was declined by the competent authority and for a writ of mandamus to release the petitioner on parole for one month for maintaining social ties and relations. 2.
Status report has been filed.

Address of the petitioner was found to be genuine. 4.
It is submitted on behalf of the State that the conduct of the petitioner was unsatisfactory as he was awarded punishments on 13th May, 2014 and 28th August, 2016 by the jail authorities.

It is to be noted that the petitioner was granted parole by this court from 8th November, 2014 to 16th December, 2014.

In these circumstances, to enable the petitioner to build social ties and relations, he be released on Parole for a period of one month from the date of his release on the following terms and conditions: - (i) he shall furnish his personal bond in the sum of Rs.5,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the concerned Jail Superintendent.
(ii) the petitioner shall maintain good conduct and behaviour during his release.
(iii) the petitioner will not leave the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
(iv) he will provide one mobile number of the surety to the SHO of the concerned Police Station which will not be changed without the permission of the Court.
(v) he shall report to the SHO of the area every Monday and Thursday.

The petition is disposed of accordingly.

Copy of this order be sent to the Jail Superintendent for compliance. 9.
Copy of this order be given dasti.
