Present petition has been filed seeking a direction to the Respondent, the Registrar of Co-operative Societies to forward the name of the Petitioner to the Delhi Development Authority ("DDA") for allotment of the subject flat or to place the case before the Rule 90 Committee wherein the same may be decided and forwarded to the DDA.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner states that he has paid all dues to the society and a no dues certificate has been issued in his favor. He further states that on May 08, 2023 the society had submitted all documents as per Schedule VII of the Delhi Cooperative Societies Rules, 2007 to the Respondent for allotment of the flat in category B in favor of the Petitioner. He states that despite approaching the Respondent continuously for verification of the documents and despite making multiple requests, to forward the Petitioner's case to the Rule 90 Committee, and also sending a legal notice dated September 11, 2023, no action has been taken by the Respondent.

Learned counsel for the respondent states that she has no instructions in the matter.

Keeping in view the limited relief sought, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to place the petitioner's case before the Rule 90 Committee within four weeks who, in turn, is directed to decide the same in accordance with law within a further period of four weeks.

This Court clarifies that it has not commented on the merits of the controversy. The rights and contentions of all the parties are left open.
