The petitioner, by way of the Writ Petition, had sought the directions to be issued to the respondents, to conclude the investigations in a time bound manner and also to procure the custody of the accused, namely, Jasmain Singh Noni, for the purpose of investigations. 2.

Learned APP for the State, has informed on instructions that the second prayer already stands satisfied as Jasmain Singh Noni, had been arrested in December, 2023 and since then has been admitted to bail. His specimen signatures were obtained promptly and have been sent to FSL for expert opinion, though the same has been returned for some rectification/clarification. IO is present in the Court and submits that the rectification would be done and the documents would again be forwarded to the FSL within two days.

Since the investigations are being carried out and the accused Jasmain Singh Noni has been arrested, nothing further survives in the present Petition. However, it is directed that the respondents shall make an endeavour to expeditiously conclude the investigations and file the ChargeSheet in the Court. 4.
