Learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present bail application. Permission, as sought for, is granted. 2.

However, the learned Counsel for the Petitioner states that the Petitioner has been in custody for more than three years and only one witness has been examined so far. He states that the trial is proceeding at snail's pace.

In view of the fact that the Petitioner has been in custody for more than three years and there are 21 more witnesses to be examined, the Trial Court is requested to expedite and conclude the trial expeditiously, preferably within a period of one year.
