After some hearing, Mr. Puneet Rathi, learned counsel for the petitioners, upon instructions, seeks permission to withdraw the contempt petition, with liberty to raise all their contentions in the writ petition. The contempt petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as aforesaid.

Contention of the writ petitioners is that the respondent-University has not reinstated them in accordance with the orders passed in this writ petition, as properly understood.

The petitioners are directed to file an additional affidavit within four weeks, detailing the steps taken during the pendency of this petition. The respondents may respond thereto, within two weeks thereafter. 3.

In the meanwhile, learned counsel for the respondent-University states that the University will communicate to each of the petitioners by 27.01.2025, through learned counsel for the petitioners, as to the campus at which they may report for duty on 28.01.2025. The petitioners are at liberty to do so. These directions are without prejudice to the rights and contentions of the parties in this writ petition. 4.
